A North Georgia native, Catherine grew up in the kitchen—from chopping pork at 4 a.m. with her Southern father in their barbecue restaurants to washing rice & frying plátano at home with her Dominican mother. Continuing her passion for food and cooking, she graduated with a Hotel & Restaurant Management degree, then promptly moved to France, knowing it would capture her heart (but more importantly, her stomach!). She resided in the middle of the Alps where her palate and culinary philosophy were completely transformed. Catherine returned to the South to work at the renowned Blackberry Farm, and now based in Atlanta, her work experience spans from recipe writing to food styling & photography to copy writing & editing. She’s currently the managing editor at Cherry Bombe.
