spring salad with fava, radishes, and strawberries

 

½ cup fresh fava beans, shelled
½ cup sliced fresh strawberries
2 French breakfast radishes, very thinly sliced into rounds
1 fennel bulb, quartered and thinly sliced
1-2 Persian cucumbers, very thinly sliced into rounds
1 bulb of green garlic, finely chopped
2 hakurei turnips, halved and thinly sliced
¼ cup chopped dried figs
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
3 tablespoons simple vinaigrette
Maldon sea salt

Combine all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and stir together until everything is coated with the vinaigrette. Plate in your favorite bowl or a pretty plate. Add a small pinch of Maldon sea salt and eat immediately.
